What is a Private Sewer Lateral (PSL)
A PSL is the pipe that connects your home’s plumbing to the publicly-owned sanitary sewer line, usually located under your street.
This crucial pipe carries all of the waste water from your home to the sewer, including everything washed down your sink or flushed down your toilet.

The Inspection Process
Step 1:
We send a high resolution camera through the sewer pipe. As we push the camera through, we are viewing in “real time” the condition of the pipe via our video monitor. All the information is recorded. and provided to our clients.
Step 2:
Once we identify the problem, we will determine the distance by footage from the access point where we inserted the camera to the problem in the line.
Step 3:
We locate the surface position of the problem by sending a signal from the camera to the surface providing the location of the deficiency. The information gathered helps us with providing accurate estimates.
Step 4: .
After the PSL is rehabilitated, we work with local city and sanitary district inspectors on verification testing and obtaining our clients the PSL Compliance Certificate.
